Wood & Hand Artisans specializes in furniture repair, restoration and refinishing. Our work features historical woodworking techniques using the same type of historic glues, finishes and craftsmanship when applicable. We use environment friendly stripper, dyes and finishes to invest in the planet as well as your health as the customer. Mobile repair and touch up is also available for residential and commercial clients. Wood & Hand is licensed and insured.
Restoration work could also include your home and the woodwork that you see everyday, or protects your house from the elements. Whether your house is a historical icon in your community, or fairly new, we can help restore the integrity of the millwork to last for years to come. Furniture conservation is all about preserving the piece and stopping the degradation. Restoration is making it look like it did new and stopping the degradation. My journey from building houses from the ground up to furniture restoration has awaken a passion to serve my customers with all of the knowledge I have about the different applications of wood.
